Tom and Sherry French started Tom's Automotive in Delray Beach, Florida on April 4, 1983. Tom's Automotive moved to a larger building in Boca Raton, Florida in 1994. Tom and Sherry have 3 children and 5 grand children. Their son Tommy worked for Tom's Automotive as an apprentice while going to high school. In 2004, Tom and Sherry decided to move closer to family, they sold Tom's Automotive and moved to Ormond Beach. After receiving GM training and certification, Tom and Sherry opened Tom's Automotive of Ormond Beach in 2009.

Tom is a Master Certified ASE technician. Tom also has his GM Certification and has 50 years experience in automotive service and repair. Tom enjoys fishing, diving, and exploring small towns of Florida on the weekends.

Sherry has 40 years experience managing the daily operations of Tom's Automotive. Sherry has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and enjoys working with children, but finds that her number one passion is helping people understand their automotive service needs and to provide a link to the technical world of automotive repair.

Tommy received his Master Certification from ASE in 2011 and has completed many of the GM certification courses. Tommy has 20 years experience working in the automotive service and repair industry and is passionate about customer satisfaction. Tommy and his wife Jessie have 3 children. Tommy enjoys spending time with his family and fishing with his Dad.
