Meet Our Team

Tom and Sherry French started Tom's Automotive in south Florida in 1983. After 21 successful years, Tom's Automotive moved to Ormond Beach. Their son Tommy started working for Tom's Automotive as an apprentice while going to high school. At Tom's Automotive we continually attend training seminars on vehicle diagnostic and repair procedures to keep up to date on today's fast changing technology, along with web based training provided by ACDELCO and automotive parts suppliers.

Tom With over 50 years of hands-on experience in automotive service and repair, Tom is a cornerstone of expertise at Tom's Automotive. He has held ASE Master Certification for 33 years and brings an additional 15 years of experience as an ASE Certified Advanced Level Technician. Tom is also GM Certified, with nine years of direct dealership experience under his belt. His in-depth knowledge and extensive training make him a go-to authority on everything from complex diagnostics to precision repairs. Tom's longevity in the field reflects a lifelong commitment to quality and continuous improvement in automotive care.

Tommy Tommy brings 20 years of automotive repair experience to the team and has been ASE Master Certified since 2011. He has also achieved ASE Advanced Level Certification and completed AC Delco Certified Training, giving him a well-rounded foundation in modern vehicle systems. Tommy is passionate about staying current with the latest diagnostic tools and repair techniques, ensuring each job is completed with accuracy and care. His dedication to quality service makes him a trusted technician among both customers and teammates.

Sherry For the past 40 years, Sherry has played an essential role as the service manager at Tom's Automotive. Known for her approachable demeanor and deep knowledge of the industry, Sherry excels at translating technical repairs into clear explanations for customers. Her ability to connect with people and build trust has made her a vital bridge between the repair shop and the community. Whether it's answering questions or providing updates, Sherry ensures every customer feels informed and confident in their service decisions.
